NO!

Toby is not really talking yet, but tries. Mostly he yells so that we do what he wants, but he has really gotten into saying "no". He knows how to shake his head and says "no" while doing so. And he knows the power of it. He walks around most of the day saying no to things. He also tries to repeat things that we say and often does a good job of sounding like it. We were at the Madison's for dinner and everyone took a vote of who loves Toby. Everyone raised their hands and said "I do," including Toby. He got such a laugh out of everyone that he kept doing it the rest of the night.

He also LOVES his blankie and insists on carry it around. We try to keep it in his crib, but if his bedroom door is open he goes in to pull it out.

I have to get used to this blogging thing.

There are so many things to smile about here, but I never know if it is something worth sharing. We had a wonderful Christmas, and since we can’t see all of our family at Christmas we have been celebrating all month long…the kids have loved it. They are so good at playing together (most of the time) and whether it is Lucy’s dolls or Caleb’s action figures, the 3 of them play together. They got a selection of musical instruments and like to put on shows; maybe they will end up with more musical talent than their parents! They also enjoy playing superheroes. Caleb is Spiderman and Lucy is Supergirl . They dress up in their winter gloves and the shoot webs out of their gloves to catch the bag guys. When Andy gets home from work they love to play hide and seek in the bedrooms with the lights off. I am sure they will be so disappointed when it starts staying light later and they will not be able to play until next fall. They love playing in the snow and we took them to their first sled hill on Christmas Eve. They had a blast!
