Decoupage

I have rediscovered the art of decoupage.  I vaguely remember doing this in my youth, but have recently enjoyed doing it again.  Lucy, my little crafter, has enjoyed working with me.  For Christmas, we made a decorative B for Grandma with pictures of the kids from last year as well as some ornaments.  I need to make some H's.  One for us and one for Grandpa.

Early last fall, I had gone to a Free For All, basically a garage sale where everything is free and picked up several items.  One of them being a Budweiser gift set.

I have several times in the kitchen, but have never enjoyed the Budweiser logo being on display.  Finally I decided to decoupage it.  I got this cute wrapping paper on after Christmas clearance.  I have been using it for wrapping and craft projects here and there.  It seemed like a perfect answer to my Budweiser logo.  And  now it is cute and perfect for keeping our things next to the back door.

The bucket is cute! And I was just going to write a decoupage post myself. Great minds!
