Sometimes Caleb seems so old, but he really is so little. I see it mostly when he is alone with me because he is obviously older and more nature than his siblings. It has been fun having him home this summer and really get to see him play all day. If only they could stay young and innocent.
He still believes that superheros exist and that he will become one. He still wears his old Spiderman costume a family friend gave him three and a half years ago. It is waaaaay too small. Not only us it very tight, but it does not reach his wrists or ankles. A few days in a row last week he put it on to play in the swing set fort. I an not really sure if the game he and Lucy were playing, but she was also prancing around in too small dress up clothes. we went out for a long overdue oil change and I asked them to change and get into the car. Caleb just put his clothes over his costume. He we went to the car place and the park with full muscles.
Below is his top secret note to Santa. It is addressed 'To S'. He would not let me see it, I snuck the pic when he inadvertently left it when he went to the bathroom. He has brought up the note and his secret wish to me, without revealing its contents. He says he knows he if getting it.
He keeps trelling me that he loves me and that being with me makes him happy. He must be reading my mind.
