Nellie has never left a barrette or pony tail in for more than a second. The other day sure was jealous of me fixing Lucy's hair, so I gave it a shot. Sure left one little pony tail in all day. She sat so nicely, kept looking in the mirror and kept it in all say. Today we tried again with two. She said 'ow' when I out them in but other than looking in the mirror and showing everyone she has left them alone. I am hoping this keeps up and her hair gets a little longer.
